Indra is making progress in the execution of its strategic plan and, more particularly, in the implementation of inorganic operations. The technology and defense company has decided officially launch a process to analyze the different options for Minsait paymentsits payment methods subsidiary, which could include a possible total or partial sale of this activity.
As the company reported this Monday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the board of directors of Indra, in accordance with what has already been indicated in the 2024-2026 Strategic Planagreed to begin at its meeting on Monday “a formal process to analyze the different options related to Minsait Payments”.
The technology and defense company does not propose in its declaration to the CNMV no information on what these different alternatives could be which it will analyze and which could involve a total sale of Minsait Payments or the contribution of an investing partner in its payment methods subsidiary.

“The company will inform the market of the progress of the processin accordance with the requirements of securities market regulations”, adds the brief press release sent by Indra to the CNMV.
Since Indra presented its “Lead the future” strategic plan last March, there has been much speculation about the future of its payment methods business. In fact, it has been published that The aim was to raise up to 600 million euros from the sale of Minsait Payments in an operation that we would like to close this year.
The company, however, has never publicly commented on its plans for its payment methods subsidiary, much less on the value of the company or a possible timeline. The first information on this subject is that transmitted this Monday to the CNMV and, for the moment, all options are still open.
