Syrian state television Ortas journalist Safaa Ahmad was killed in an attack in Damascus, the television company reported on its Telegram channel.
“Prominent presenter Safaa Ahmad died as a martyr due to the treacherous aggression against Damascus” – says the message.
According to SANA, three civilians were killed in the attacks on the city. Nine people were injured and damage was caused to private homes, the agency says.
A source from the Ortas television channel stated that the attacks were carried out by the Israeli army. The attack was carried out with drones and military aircraft from the Golan Heights. Most of the missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by the air defense system, Ortas notes.
