Madrid City Hall is paralyzing the removal of scooters from the city’s streets starting this Thursday. This provisional decision has been communicated to the companies concerned and will remain in force until a judge rules on the requested precautionary measures.
This was announced by Madrid City Hall in a press release, in which it also insisted that it will continue to penalize inappropriate parking.
On October 8, Madrid signed the decree definitively revoking the 6,000 scooters that can circulate on its streets and informed the three companies that provide service in the city (Dott, Lime and Tier Mobility) that they had 15 working days to remove them.
