In Shanghai, three people were killed and 15 injured in a knife attack at a supermarket. RFA reported this on Monday, September 30.
According to the agency, police arrived at the scene and arrested a 37-year-old suspect in the attack. After the preliminary investigation, it was determined that due to personal financial problems, the suspect attacked people who were shopping at the supermarket to “express his anger.”
The attacker reportedly injured 18 people in total, three of whom later died in hospital.
The police continue to investigate this case.
