A new measure with which those of Feijóo seek to guarantee that companies that apply conciliation measures that go “beyond what the law minimally requires” have “an additional assessment when they embark on a call for ‘public offers’.
But what are the keys to this conciliation law? Among the measures included in the law, the ‘popular’ propose “the creation of a national conciliation prize and co-responsibility to raise awareness in society of the importance of this issue and reward good commercial and social practices, or that companies that apply conciliation measures beyond what the law proposes will have a higher value for the markets public.
Even if this is not the only measure announced by the PP in recent days. The Deputy Secretary for Equality, Conciliation and Social Policies of the PP, Ana Alós, listed some of them as “free universal nursery schools from 0 to 3 years oldthe extension of paternity and maternity leave, the recognition of single-parent families and the extension of their leave, bonuses for the caregiver contract for large families and single parents, an improvement in the recognition of large families, an aid plan to facilitate the return to work of women who have left their job to look after children or relatives, and also for the self-employed an exemption two years of social security contributions.
