The Civil Guard arrested Villanueva de Córdoba a 30-year-old local resident, known for his extensive criminal record, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of attempted robbery with force at a local home, according to a news release.
The municipal station officers received a warning of an alleged assault on a local property. Apparently the attackers were still inside the house.
Immediately, the Civil Guard established a device in which a patrol from the Villanueva de Córdoba and Cardeña posts was integrated.
After arriving at the designated location and cordoning off the area, officers conducted an inspection of the house which was found to be in disarray. “They were in a room, hidden under a bedto a local resident, aged 30, known for his criminal record, who was arrested”, indicates the Civil Guard in the note.
At the time of his arrest, the alleged attacker was wearing a Jimmy with which he had previously forced one of the entrances to the house.
The house is used by the owners as second home and family business beverage warehouse, where the inmate had previously worked.
