The student title was awarded to Vusal Shahkerimov (Vusal Gunner), who became the symbol of the heroic Azerbaijani soldier in the Patriotic War.
According to Modern.az, he was admitted to the Russian Federal University of the North Caucasus.
Vusal Shahkerimov was born on June 29, 2001 in the village of Gusarchay of Khachmaz district. After graduating from the secondary school named after Shahid Arif Mammadov, he joined the army.
After returning from military service, he worked in the State Fire Control Department of the Northern Region of the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
