They rescue two men who have been adrift for three days without food, water and radio

The Civil Guard rescued two shipwrecked people who had been adrift for three days, without water, food or radio, 40 miles from Cristina Island (Huelva). The sailboat with which they traveled the Andalusian coast caught fire and sank so quickly that they did not have time to notify Maritime Rescue.

A Benemérita patrol boat spotted an orange reflection in the sea and, after approaching, they asked: “How many are you? How many days have you been?”. And they, through tears of emotion, only managed to respond: “We’ve been here for three days! A fire! A boat!” They almost died, but thanks to the work of the armed institute, they were able to say it.
