During the aforementioned press conference, Alegría, also responsible for Education and Sports, announced that Spain will now assume the co-presidency of the Alliance for Open Government, which integrates more than seventy countries and more than around a hundred municipalities around the world. and which was promoted by former United States President Barack Obama.
It is a group, as Alegría herself explained, focused on “promoting transparency, accountability and public participation.”
