murders and rapes with the same “modus operandi” that he used with his wife

Dominique Pelicot is under investigation in very serious matters. Not only does he face lawsuits against him and others 50 men who raped their wives that he had already drugged. Police are investigating other people seven cases in which Pelicot allegedly raped and even murdered other women using the same “modus operandi” as when he raped his wife Gisèle Pelicot.

The case for which he is currently on trial has given investigators clues to resolve some unanswered questions. The case we already know he’s going to be tried for happened 1999 when a woman reported a attempted rape.

His recent arrest made it possible to prove that the DNA found on the woman’s shoes corresponds to that of Dominique Pélicot. In addition to confirming that the robotic portrait that was made of his attacker then coincides with his own. These tests led Pélicot himself to admit the facts.

It was 25 years ago, but before that, 1991researchers believe that Pelicot could be the origin of the rape and murder of Sophie Narmealthough he denies any relationship.

The “modus operandi” used by the murderer is very similar to that which Pelicot used with his wife: drugging the victim and then raping her.

Sophie, then aged 23, was a real estate agent in Paris and no one has ever found her killer. As with these other cases in which the Police suspect Pélicot of being involved: two rapes in 1994another in 1995an attempted rape 2004 and a homicide in 2000. In all these cases, the attacker acted in the same way and the victims had very similar profiles. So Pelicot could face up to seven trials for these cases she is connected with.
