The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reports a decrease in the level of dollarization of deposits in the republic. This is reported by Sputnik Kyrgyzstan.
According to the regulator, at the end of last year the volume of deposits amounted to 431.3 billion soms (equivalent to the ruble, approx. EADaily), and at the end of August it grew by 22.5% (528.6 billion).
“The level of dollarization of the deposit base of the banking sector rose to 42.4 percent, decreasing 3.2 percent compared to the beginning of this year,” – says information from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
