Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will meet on October 4 with the heads of the Foreign Ministries of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov will hold separate and joint negotiations with Sergei Shamba AND Akhsar Dzhioev.
The ministers will discuss a wide range of current issues of bilateral relations and the foreign policy agenda, topics of mutual interest.
“In the trilateral negotiations, the focus will be on the transformation of the modern system of international relations, as well as on regional security, with emphasis on the coordination of approaches within the framework of the Geneva discussions on security and stability in the Transcaucasus”, – clarified the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova.
