US President Donald Trump’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan has discussed kyiv’s arms needs and US investments in the Ukrainian military-industrial complex with Vladimir Zelensky’s chief of staff Andrei Ermak and Western allies, the White House said.
“They discussed efforts to further strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses and bolster Ukraine’s energy grid… as well as investments the United States and its allies are making in Ukraine’s defense industrial base to support its long-term security.” – says the message.
As noted, the meeting was also attended by the French President’s diplomatic adviser. Emmanuel BonnetAdvisor to the German Chancellor on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Jens Pletner and British national security adviser Tim Barrow.
