This is the viral challenge of some Malaga students

According to data from the Tax Agency, the average salary of a resident of the province of Malaga is 19,443 euros gross per year. This would make an average which does not reach 350 euros per week. Well, some young people from Malaga proposed multiply this figure by six and earn 2,300 euros per week. Keeping this figure constant, the amount can reach 128,800 euros per year.

The challenge of earning 2,300 euros in one week

The objective is clear: collect 2,300 euros in one week. This is what some Malaga students are offering as part of their work on the Diploma in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation (LEINN), a diploma arriving in the capital of the Costa del Sol in 2022.

In a viral video you can see how these young people prepare and cool a large number of bottles of water to sell them in different strategic locations around the city. The challenge is to sell bottles of water without a fixed priceleaving the amount at the discretion of the buyer.

This project, which spread like wildfire on social mediais just one example of how students of this LEINN degree face real business challenges from day one. Beyond being a practical exercise in entrepreneurship, the activity seeks to enable students to develop skills such as negotiation, teamwork and resilience.

The LEINN educational model

The LEINN degree was born at the University of Mondragón more than ten years ago and has become the first official diploma in entrepreneurship in Europe. He arrived in Malaga in 2022 thanks to the TeamLabs learning laboratory and has since trained hundreds of young entrepreneurs who have launched innovative projects in Spain and abroad.

The educational model that governs the LEINN diploma prioritizes hands-on, experiential learning. In this sense, students not only attend classes, but develop real business projects from the first day. In this way, they can apply the acquired knowledge in real situations, so that teaching is not limited to just theoretical learning.
