Garbage containers were placed on the sidewalk near the Azerbaijan State University of Industry and Petroleum on Dilara Aliyeva Street.
Residents say it is unsanitary and obstructs pedestrian traffic.
“They lie and say we will take away their trash cans. But they are all full of trash,” the resident complained.
The Nasimi District Housing and Communal Management Union made a statement in this regard.
“The process of replacing existing containers with new ones is underway at the container yards created for temporary collection of household waste in the Nasimi district. Currently, these works are being carried out on Dilara Aliyeva Street. The placing these containers on the sidewalk “It is temporary, and in the next few hours they will be replaced by new ones and removed from the area,” he said, according to information from the institution.
