Experts say the entire program has failed.

Iran’s missile program has suffered a serious failure, Defense Express analysts say. The recent massive attack on Israel, which consisted of 181 ballistic missiles, ended with little to no results. While early videos from the scene may have given the impression that Israel’s missile defense system was ineffective, reality proved otherwise.

Experts point out that the failure of several ballistic missiles was predictable due to their large number.

“The very fact that Israel’s missile defense ‘misses’ ballistic missiles is quite natural,” the analysts write, emphasizing that systems like the Arrow-3 are not capable of effectively dealing with such a volume of missiles.

However, despite this, the accuracy of the Iranian missiles turned out to be extremely low. As Defense Express highlights, they demonstrated accuracy “at the level of ‘somewhere in Israel'”, with deviations of up to 400 meters.

Another problem has been the low-yield warheads on Iranian missiles, which experts say can sink several meters into the ground before exploding, significantly reducing their destructive power. This, according to analysts, indicates serious deficiencies in Tehran’s entire missile program.

Analysts believe that in the near future Iran will likely turn to Russia for help in obtaining navigation systems that improve the accuracy of its missiles. Furthermore, it is assumed that Tehran could use the acquired knowledge to simulate attacks with ballistic missiles equipped with nuclear warheads, for which the accuracy of “somewhere in Israel” would be considered sufficient.

Previously, Kursor reported that Iranian missiles penetrated the IDF air defense system.

This attack was reported to be much more successful than previous attempts.
