The first deputy secretary-general of the United Nations (UN), Amina Mohammad, will visit Azerbaijan next week.
This was stated by Stefan Dujarric, spokesman for the UN Secretary General, in statements to the “Report”.
The spokesperson noted that Amina Mohammad will participate in the event to be held in Baku on October 10 and 11 before the COP29 conference:
“During the visit, the First Deputy Secretary-General will meet in Baku with state and government officials of Azerbaijan and members of the delegations of many member states within the framework of COP29. Preparations for COP29 and various topics will be exchanged during the meetings.” “Mohammed will return to New York on October 11,” the spokesperson said.
