The Valladolid municipality of Simancas repeats as the one with the highest average gross income in Castilla y León, with 45,755 euros, while Madrigal of the Altas Torres (Ávila) It remains at the bottom, with 16,949 euros.
This is clear from the data published today by the Tax Agency in its Statistics of Personal Income Tax Declarants by Municipalities for the year 2022, where it is confirmed that Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid) remained in 2022, for the fourth consecutive year, as the municipality in Spain with the highest declared average gross income, with 85,323 euros. Meanwhile, Huesa (Andalusia) is the poorest, with 13,658 euros.
The study, which analyzes cities with more than 1,000 inhabitants, also specifies its results by province. In Avilathe municipality with the highest income is the capital, with 28,349 euros. On the contrary, Madrigal de las Altas Torres recorded the lowest, with 18,865, not counting the group of small municipalities, with an income of 16,949 euros, the lowest in the community.
In BurgosCardeñajimeno was by far the municipality with the best average gross income in the province, with 40,041 euros. It thus consolidates itself in second place in the regional ranking. On the other hand, Quintanar de la Sierra is less than half, with 19,756 euros.
On the contrary to LeonSariegos was the richest municipality, with an income of 37,486 euros, which contrasts with the 19,280 euros of Bustillo del Páramo.
In Palencethe city with the highest income is Grijota, with 30,788 euros, and the lowest, Paredes de Nava, with 20,690 euros.
In Salamanca Carbajosa de la Sagrada appears as the richest municipality, with 34,803 euros of average gross income, and on the other side of the table is Macotera, with 18,191, second from the bottom of the community.
Regarding Segoviathe one with the highest income is Trescasas, with 33,986 euros, and the least, Navalmanzano, with 19,936 euros.
As for SoriaGolmayo leads the provincial ranking, with 32,491 euros, and Covaleda closes with 19,920.
In Valladolidis at the top of the Simancas ranking, which leads the Community, and Nava del Rey is in last place with 19,531.
Finally in ZamoraMorales del Vino is the municipality with the highest average gross income, 29,418; and Fermoselle the lowest, with 19,158.
