Among the dirtiest items, she said, are kitchen sponges and cloths, kitchen sinks, pet dishes, stoves, cabinet handles, water filters and coffee machines.
“Sponges or sponges are constantly kept in humid conditions, they are used to wash all surfaces, from dishes and kitchen utensils to the stove and tables. Kitchen utensils and pet dishes can also become breeding grounds for bacteria if they are not cleaned regularly with special disinfectants.

When cleaning, we must not forget these places and use special disinfectants. Water filters and coffee machines are also suitable places for bacteria to live. Don’t forget about the water part inside the refrigerator, because many products are stored there, even raw products, whose water is stored there. can leach and contaminate the surface, and this can be an excellent refuge for bacteria,” said Olesya Dubenko.
According to the expert, another favorite place for bacteria to grow is cutting boards. Since juices from meat, fish, vegetables and fruits easily enter the cracks opened with a knife, pathogenic bacteria accumulate on these plates. To avoid this, it is necessary to have different plates for each type of food and change them periodically.
