The María Santísima music group Hope will once again accompany one of the processions of glory with the most traditional and popular accompaniment of Córdoba: that of María Auxiliadora. The group has just signed the contract with the association which reveres it for May 24, 2025.
The Esperanza band underlined its satisfaction at reconnecting with Salesian devotion, which it accompanied between 2006 and 2010. This period includes the day of their canonical coronation in May 2009. From this period remains a processional work, dedicated precisely to the coronation of Mary Help of Christians, and which was signed José Juan Gámez Varo for this day.
The musical formation of the brotherhood of San Andrés recalled that it had also accompanied an extraordinary procession of the relics of Saint John Bosco in 2012, his link with the Salesian house and its devotions is therefore old.
It will replace the music group Mairena del Alcor, which accompanied María Auxiliadora in recent years in a massive procession every year through the San Lorenzo district and the surroundings of the sanctuary.
