“Iran may send troops to Syria.”
Oku.Az This is reported to have been stated by Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in an interview with the publication “Al-Arabi al-Jadid.”
He said that if the Syrian government asks Iran to send troops, Tehran will consider this request.
In addition, the minister noted that he plans to visit Russia to discuss the events in Syria.
Araqchi also added that Iran currently has no intention of starting negotiations with the United States:
“There is no basis for such dialogue.”
