During September, 101 people were admitted to the Toxicology Department of the Clinical Medical Center (KTM) due to poisoning.
Oku.Az reports that KTM has published information on the matter.
It was reported that 40 of the patients admitted to the department were poisoned by drugs, 38 by acetic acid, 9 by snake bites, 4 by organic phosphorus compounds, 2 by alcohol, and 1 by fungi.
Likewise, 6 people were admitted to the department due to an allergic reaction and 1 person due to anaphylaxis.
Despite the doctors’ efforts, 3 of the poisoned people (2 men and 1 woman) died.
Deaths were recorded due to poisoning by acetic acid and psychotropic drugs.
