Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili approved the bill “On the protection of family values and minors.”
Oku.Az reports that the announcer has published information about it on his social network account.
A day ago, Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili refused to sign the bill and returned it to parliament. Interestingly, S. Zurabashvili did not use the right to veto the bill.
According to Georgian law, in such cases the speaker of parliament has five days to approve the bill.
For your information, let us add that the bill “On the protection of family values and minors” in Georgia prohibits the promotion of LGBT and gender reassignment in this country.
