Madrid cemeteries extend their opening hours on All Saints’ Day

Thus, the cemeteries of Our Lady of La Almudena, Civil, Hebrew and South Carabanchel They open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 6:30 p.m. The rest of the municipal cemeteries (Fuencarral, El Pardo, Vallecas, Canillas and Aravaca) will have opening hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Fuencarral Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • El Pardo Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Vallecas Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Canillas Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Aravaca Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Christ of Pardo Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Canillejas Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Barajas Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Villaverde Cemetery: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

THE small cemeteries (Cristo de El Pardo, Canillejas, Barajas and Villaverde) are generally only open two days a week. However, on All Saints’ Day, access will be allowed from 8:00 a.m. and they will close at 5:00 p.m.

The EMT increases its service in Madrid on the occasion of All Saints’ Day

The Municipal Transport Company (EMT)will activate the services specials this November 1st on the occasion of All Saints’ Day. Concretely, the frequency has been increased in five cemeteries in Madrid, including six regular lines.

The EMT planned these reinforcements based on the demand for that day. There will be a total 14 additional buses on conventional lines and nine for the two special services.
