The Calvià Town Hall, which runs the popular Juan Antonio Amengual in coalition with Vox, launches a an ambitious public housing plan to meet the growing demand for housing in the municipality. The initiative is part of a series of strategic actions aimed at facilitating access to affordable housing through collaboration between public entities and private developers.
As the council explains through a press release, it will cede four public lots located in the sectors of Calvià Vila, Peguera, El Toro and Magaluf for the construction of 300 rental homes at affordable prices for residents.
The locations of the plots are in Calvià Vila (c/ Maria del Carmen Calabuig, 1), in Peguera (c/ Toni Munar Cerdà, 5B), in El Toro (Av. Central, 114) and in Magaluf (Res 50). The accommodations in Calvià Vila, Peguera and Magaluf will be offered for rent at the price of Officially Protected Housing (VPO), while those located on the land of The bull will be available for rental at limited price.
