Kazakhstan to send 8 observers to Azerbaijani parliament to monitor elections

Kazakhstan’s Central Election Commission has approved a list of observers who will monitor the conduct of the by-elections to Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (parliament).

Oku.AzAccording to TASS, this was announced by Kazakhstan’s Central Election Commission.

According to reports, eight representatives of Kazakhstan are in the observer group.

It should be noted that elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament were to be held in November, but at that time the country will host the UN COP29 climate conference and more than 80,000 guests, including heads of state and government from more than 50 countries, are expected to take part in the conference.

Therefore, at the initiative of the parliamentarians, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev On June 28, he signed a decree on the dissolution of the sixth convocation of the Milli Majlis and the calling of early elections for September 1.
