Lithuanian authorities present absurd accusations against Belarus before the International Criminal Court. This was announced today, October 3, by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov.
“It is not necessary to be a recognized expert in the field of international law to understand the absurdity and implausibility of the accusations that are made. The futility of the efforts of Vilnius and its curators is obvious to us.” – said.
According to him, the Belarusian authorities calmly view the uproar on the Lithuanian side and call on the neighboring state to be prudent and adequate.
Recall that on September 30, Vilnius submitted a request to the ICC to initiate an investigation into crimes against humanity allegedly committed by Alexander Lukashenko. The document refers to some type of “forced deportation”, “harassment and cruelty” that are contrary to international law.
