Moscow sees no possibilities for direct contacts with Kyiv – Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Russia sees no opportunities for direct contacts with kyiv, but at the same time remains open to constructive proposals to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. This was stated by the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Sherpa in the BRICS, Sergei Ryabkov.

“We do not see opportunities for any direct contact with kyiv, but at the same time we have repeatedly emphasized that Russia has been and remains open to a political and diplomatic solution to the conflict. “We welcome constructive and meaningful proposals from all countries <> if they take into account the interests of all parties.” – he said at a press conference dedicated to the preparations for the BRICS summit in Kazan, TASS reports.
