Putin emphasized that good speech is not only a sign of general intellectual development, but is one of the serious and essential signs of a person’s intellectual development, working in close connection with national identity.
“There is nothing more striking, there is no more striking sign of national identity than the mastery of one’s own mother tongue.” — the head of state appears confident.
He pointed out that a whole series of measures are needed in this direction. First of all, it is necessary to instill the skills and love of reading and discussing literature.

It is important for the young person to have a book in their hand so that the younger generation does not only use the Internet.
“Of course, everyone should know the letters, but it is necessary to feel the “taste” of the book, the taste of having it in your hands, not only receiving information, but reading those intonations, what the writer feels.
