The University of León distinguishes its six students with the best diploma and master’s projects

This Thursday, the Ponferrada Campus of the University of León awarded the Caser-Unicaja Mentoring Awards, which reward six students for the best end-of-studies and master’s projects. For this reason, everyone will receive aid of 450 euros.

The rector, Nuria González Álvarez, was present at the delivery; the general secretary, María Pilar Gutiérrez Santiago; and the vice-rector of the Ponferrada Campus, Pilar Marqués Sánchez, with the territorial director of Castilla y León Norte of Unicaja, Marga Serna, and on behalf of Caser, Federico Marqués, executive director of the Unicaja account at the insurer.

The recognized students were Alicia Enriquez Martínezthe nursing career; Esther Oreja Santosphysiotherapy; in the field of Podiatry, Jesus Valle Blanco and the diploma in Forestry Engineering and Natural Environment, Dana Mínguez Bermejo. Also, in geomatics and topographical engineering, José Javier Carrera Ariasand finally, for his Master’s work in Geoinformatics, Alexei Valero Jorge.

The relationship between Unicaja and the University of León has a history of 47 years. Both maintain a financial collaboration agreement, which benefits both the university establishment itself, its staff and the enrolled students.
