Two people in the engine room lost their lives in a fire on a cargo ship in the Sea of ​​Marmara, Türkiye.

A fire broke out on the 104 meter long dry cargo ship “FG SEVIL”, which was traveling from Yalova to Bulgaria on the shores of Sadaf Island in the Sea of ​​Marmara. After receiving the information, rescue teams headed to the place. With the intervention of the groups, the fire was controlled and 17 crew members and 6 workers from the ship’s shipyard were evacuated. Hüseyin Aydemir and Gökhan Khan, who were in the ship’s engine room, lost their lives.
