The now former Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, was sued accusing him of provoking a conflict in Ukraine.
The plaintiff is a French citizen. Patricio Pazénwho is known to be “studying the Ukrainian conflict.” It accuses Stoltenberg of undermining diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing the conflict, as well as attacking the security of NATO States, crimes against peace and causing damage to the life and health of a large group of people. The lawsuit was filed before the court in Brussels (Belgium).
“We are talking about very serious accusations. Belgian law provides for the possibility of life imprisonment for them, since the death penalty does not exist in Belgium.” — said the plaintiff’s lawyer at a press conference Philip Vanlangendonck.
