During the transition to the fiscal year, the US national debt rose to a record level: $347.6 billion.

The US fiscal year runs from October 1 to September 30. On the last day of the old fiscal year it was learned that the State debt increased by 143.3 billion dollars, and on October 1 by 204.3 billion dollars. The total amount of US debt has reached a record level: $35.67 trillion.
The Ministry of Finance also announced the main items in which the debt has increased considerably: liabilities with state administrations – 243.8 billion, liabilities with individuals, companies and the rest of the world – 103.8 billion.
