In the city of Nizhnekamsk, police detained foreigners who participated in mass fights. A criminal case has been opened, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Tatarstan reported.
Former Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin -instructed the head of the Tatarstan investigation department. Vladimir Lipsky submit a report on the investigation of the incident.
“The participants in the conflict were identified among the residents of Nizhnekamsk and foreign citizens working in the city. Based on these facts, the Nizhnekamsk investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan opened two criminal cases for crimes provided for in Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism committed by a group of persons)”, – the message said.
A group of attackers from Nizhnekamsk, consisting of thirteen people, was also identified. Efforts are currently underway to stop them.
