Bruno Retailleau wants “a new immigration law”, considering that “we need a legislative vector to modify” the rule of law
Rule of law, group return flights to the border, extension of the maximum duration of stay in detention centers… Questioned by RTL, the Minister of the Interior, who claims a very right-wing policy, denied being “the spokesperson of the RN”as presented by presenter Thomas Sotto. “I am a spokesperson for the French, my obsession is to speak the language that the French understand, not a technocratic language that pleases the microcosm”he replied, believing that his policy was not “brutal”before noticing that he “Do not iron[a] Not warm water.”
The Minister of the Interior returned to his announcement the day before ordering the prefect of Mayotte to organize “grouped flights” return the nationals of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to their country. “Those who arrived irregularly on French territory, overseas or in mainland France, should not stay with us”commented, believing that “When we violate borders, it should be a crime”.
“To regain control there is the international response, which will consist of bilateral agreements so that the countries of origin accept that their nationals be returned to them”he detailed.
Mr. Retailleau once again reiterated his desire to extend the maximum duration of administrative detention of irregular immigrants who have committed certain crimes to up to two hundred and ten days. “We need a legislative vector to modify this point”estimates the Minister of the Interior, citing the need to“a new immigration law”.
