The Council of Ministers approved the list of beneficiaries of grants between research and educational centers

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the list of recipients of grants from among top-level educational and research institutions in 2024.

The corresponding order was approved by the Prime Minister. Mikhail MishustinThe document states that more than 2.8 billion rubles will be allocated to support top-level scientific and educational centers in 2024.

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the grants are distributed among 15 research and educational centres that unite educational and scientific organisations, as well as large and medium-sized companies from the real sector of the economy in 36 regions.

“Working closely together, they are engaged in advanced research and development required for the country’s technological development, the launch of new production facilities and the implementation of advanced solutions.” – said the Government.

The list of beneficiaries of the grants was clarified. Among them:

  • Belgorod State National Research University,
  • Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after Lomonosov,
  • Ural Federal University,
  • Kemerovo State University,
  • Siberian Federal University and others.

According to the Prime Minister’s order, the amount of the grants will range from 93 to 250 million rubles, depending on the level of achievement.

It is explained that these funds can be used, among other things, for the purchase of modern equipment, the provision of laboratories and the implementation of projects.
