The automaker also announced plans to launch 21 electric models by 2030 and double its hybrids to 14, with a next-generation system that delivers better performance and energy efficiency, as confirmed by Hyundai Group Chairman Jae-hoo Chang at the headquarters in Seoul.
Hyundai Group will invest more than 81 billion euros to strengthen its long-term strategic plan, which it has named Hyundai Way. The main goal is to increase its sales to 5.5 million cars worldwide by 2030, about a third more than what it currently sells.
In Spain, the subsidiary headed by Leopoldo Satrústegui follows the group’s expansion wave at a global level and plans to sell more than 64,000 vehicleswhich represents an increase of more than 8.5% compared to 2023. Last year, Hyundai Spain increased its turnover by 5.2% year-on-year, reaching 1,189.5 million euros.
