Armenia buys new weapons from India

The Armenian Armed Forces completed testing of six ATAGS units supplied by India.

Oku.Az reports that the specialized website “Indian Defense Research Wing” published information in this regard.

According to the information, the weapons have passed all operational tests in different parts of the country. The trajectory calculation module of the initial batch of six ATAGS weapons was programmed in the Armenian language at the request of the Armenian side.

In addition, several other changes were made to adapt the weapons to the special requirements of the Armenian army. The successful completion of these tests paved the way for Armenia to purchase 84 more ATAGS weapons from the Indian manufacturer “Kalyani Groups”. The delivery of a new batch of weapons is currently expected.
