Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin ordered to check media reports about the kidnapping of elderly people in various regions of Russia for use as labor.
“The head of the department instructed the heads of the investigative departments of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Republic of Dagestan. Belyaev D.V. and in the Republic of Adygea Larina VA organize controls on the facts expressed on the air”, – says a statement on the RF IC website on October 3.
In addition, according to the department, the investigative authorities organized inspections in Moscow and the Krasnodar Territory, and the heads of the investigative departments were instructed to report on their results.
