On the eighth day of the Patriotic War, the city of Gabriel is liberated from occupation

October 4, 2020: eighth day of the Patriotic War, which led us to the freedom of our land.

Oku.Az remember that the glorious army of Azerbaijan continues to advance with determination to liberate our former lands from occupation. The enemy, suffering a serious defeat on the battlefield, takes the conflict beyond the front line, as in the first days, on the eighth day of the war, again attacking the civilian population and civilian infrastructure. Thus, in the morning, the hated enemy launches rocket attacks against the city of Tartar and the settlement of Horadiz.

Additionally, Armenian armed forces repeatedly fire on the city of Ganja. As a result, a resident of Ganja, a civilian, lost his life and 32 people were injured. Many houses and infrastructure have suffered serious damage.

At the same time, the Armenian army is firing intense artillery fire on the settlements of Saricali in Aghjabedi district, Baharli, Chiragli, Uchoglan in Aghdam district and Shahvelilar in Barda district.

Furthermore, as a result of intense artillery shelling by the Armenian armed forces against civilian houses in different addresses of the Agjabedi district, Farid Dilafat oghlu Isgandarov, a resident of the village of Taynag, born in 2006, was buried under the rubble and He died as a result of artillery fire. The projectiles fell on the canteen and numerous civil infrastructures were destroyed.

Of course, the next shooting from the territory of Armenia towards the territory of Azerbaijan has the character of an open provocation and served to expand the combat zone.

The enemy’s terrorist acts do not go unanswered. Armored vehicles, fire support and security equipment of the Armenian armed forces are destroyed.

President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev On its page “X”, it gives the news that replaces the sadness of our people with joy. The head of the country announced that the Azerbaijani army has completely liberated the city of Jabrayl and several villages in the region from occupation. Furthermore, in his address to the people, the Head of State announced that the villages of Karkhulu, Shukurbeyli, Yukhari Maralyan, Cheraken, Dashkasan, Decal, Mahmudlu, Jafarabad and Horovlu of the Jabrayil region were completely freed from occupation.

Around 18:00 it was reported that the flag of Azerbaijan was planted at the post where National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov fought alone and destroyed a large number of enemy forces on June 18, 2010. In the direction of Jabrayl they are taken as loot a large amount of weapons and ammunition, military equipment and vehicle equipment of the enemy.

But the nefarious enemy continues to take the war beyond the front line, attacking civilians and civilian infrastructure. Thus, in the afternoon the Armenian armed forces launched four medium-range ballistic missiles “Tochka-U” against the city of Mingachevir. A few minutes later, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Armenian armed forces fired rockets into the territory of the city of Mingachevir and artillery attacks against the territory of the city of Tartar, and that there were injuries. Two of the three rockets fired at Mingachevir did not explode. As a result of the third rocket being launched at a private house, five people were hospitalized with injuries of varying degrees and, at the same time, the house was seriously damaged. The enemy’s main objective in firing missiles at Mingachevir is to hit the Mingachevir reservoir. About an hour later, the Armenian army fired two 300-kilometer medium-range missiles at the Khizi and Absheron regions. Furthermore, as a result of the Armenian army continuing to shell Tartar with heavy artillery, two residents of the city were injured.

The war continues with the defeat of Armenia and the Armenian lobby on the information front. President Ilham Aliyev In an interview with the TV channel “Al-Arabiya”, he answers the journalist’s provocative questions based on the exact facts:

“Azerbaijan is an independent country. Azerbaijan has a very strong position in the international arena. No political, economic, energy or transportation project can be realized without Azerbaijan.”

Of course, the superiority of the Azerbaijani army on the eighth day of the war and the liberation of our territories from occupation indicated that our flag would soon fly everywhere on our lands.
