IDF attacked bunker of Nasrallah’s successor: media

The IDF launched heavy attacks against the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The target of the attack was one of Hezbollah’s top leaders, Hisham Safi al-Din, considered a likely successor to Hassan Nasrallah.

This was reported by the Alexey Zheleznov Telegram channel.

According to Israeli and Lebanese sources, the attack targeted a deeply fortified underground bunker in the Dahiya region, one of Hezbollah’s strongholds.

More than 30 bombs capable of penetrating bunkers were used to destroy the facility. Despite the magnitude of the attack, Safi ad-Din’s fate remains unknown. A large number of deaths and injuries were reported among those present at the time of the attack, but rescue teams have not yet been able to reach the impact site due to the complexity of the situation and the destruction.

A meeting was reportedly held in the underground bunker and was attended by Hassan Nasrallah’s successor, Hisham Safi al-Din, and his cousin.

At the moment there is no exact information on whether Nasrallah’s successor has been eliminated. However, the media reported that the bunker could not withstand such intense bombardment and its successor was unlikely to survive.

Previously, Kursor reported that Hezbollah warehouses and intelligence headquarters were destroyed in Lebanon.

The operation was carefully planned with the support of military intelligence.

“Cursor” also wrote that Hezbollah said it had stopped the IDF’s advance into Lebanon, but there is a nuance.

The Hezbollah terrorist group is trying to boost the morale of its fighters amid huge losses.
