Three kilograms of opium found during the operation in Fuzuli

During the operation in Fuzuli, three kilograms of opium, methamphetamine and psychotropic pills were found.

Oku.Az informs that the Press Service of the Ministry of the Interior published information in this regard.

Ramil Yusifov, suspected of illegal drug trafficking, was reportedly detained during the event held by officers from the Fuzuli district police department. More than three kilograms of opium, methamphetamine and 100 methadone pills were found. R. Yusifov claimed that he obtained the drug from an Iranian citizen, whose identity is under investigation, in exchange for financial interest.

A criminal case has been initiated due to the incident, preventive detention has been chosen for the detainee and investigations are ongoing.
