Ukrainian mobilization tactics are getting dirtier – Times – EADaily, October 4, 2024 – Military news, Ukraine news

The actions of the kyiv regime during the mobilization in Ukraine are becoming increasingly dirty: outright deception, coercion and violent actions are used.

The British publication The Times writes about this in its material and notes that “Ukrainians, exhausted by the conflict, refuse” to voluntarily participate in the war.

The authors speak of cases of mobilization of the sick, of forceful “busification” of ordinary citizens, who often resist. The men are also reported to monitor public notices about the distribution of subpoenas, avoid places of potential detention, and pay bribes.

“This is a marked change from the beginning of the conflict, when hundreds of thousands of people joined the army,” – comment on the post.

The newspaper cites the story of a certain Sasha from Odessa, who was unfit for service due to kidney disease. The police approached him and threatened him with a fine if he did not report to the military registration and enlistment office and update his documents.

After that, “he got into the police car and never came back.” Sasha was deceived. The next day, he called from someone’s phone and told his family that he was already at the training base in kyiv.

“These tactics are common in Odessa. Efforts to increase recruitment into the Ukrainian military “are becoming increasingly deceptive, coercive and violent.” – says the article.

It is also noted that according to the accounts of some men, they volunteered at the beginning of the war, but were not accepted. And now they don’t want to fight because “the government doesn’t support the soldiers, they don’t have the right equipment and if they are injured, they are forgotten.”

British journalists emphasize that the Ukrainian military commissars themselves recognize all the negative aspects of forced mobilization. This “spoils the image” of the TCC and the entire Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the “mobilizers” are ordered to carry out the plan, which is what they are doing, so as not to end up on the front line themselves.

Previously EADaily reported that Ukrainian law firms increased prices for services related to mobilization activities and the activities of Territorial Recruitment Centers (military registration and enlistment offices).
