The general secretary of the PSOE of Andalusia and spokesperson in the Senate of the Socialists, Juan Espadas, maintained this Friday that the parliamentary agreement with EH Bildu for the reform of the law on the protection of citizens’ securityThe Gag Law, colloquially known as the Gag Law, responds to “an electoral commitment of the Socialist Party and the President of the Government”.
Espadas maintained that “it was not an easy matter” and that “The Government is trying to bring positions closer together so that they can be voted on by a majority of deputies”, also including police unions critical of the agreement with EH Bildu.
