The pilot of an F-18 fighter died this Friday in an accident in the surroundings of the city of Teruel, according to investigative sources who were able to confirm to laSexta.

As LaSexta learned, the event occurred this Friday around 12:30 p.m. in Peralejos, a little less than 20 kilometers from Teruel, where two army F-18 fighters were carrying out maneuvers training when one of them suffered an accident in which the pilot was unable to eject and died.
A death that the Air Force also ended up confirming. The pilot was Lieutenant Colonel Pablo Estrada Martínassigned to Wing 12, died after the accident.
