Catalá announces the opening of breastfeeding rooms in the municipal markets of Russafa and Cabanyal

Valencia City Hall will open breastfeeding rooms in the municipal markets of Russafa and Cabanyal. These spaces will have seats, a changing table and the necessary equipment “so that breastfeeding mothers can breastfeed their babies in a calm environment and in a safe place to store their belongings”. Among other initiatives launched by Valencia City Hall to help families raise their children, the mayor highlighted the aid of 300 euros that the City Hall will grant to newborns from January.

In addition, Maria José Cataláwho thanked “the work of health professionals and volunteers who make meetings like the one being held today in Valencia possible”, underlined “the great potential of the city in terms of health”.
