Two single-seater planes were carrying out different exercises and maneuvers when one of them had an accident and crashed in an area of Peralejos (Teruel). It was piloted by Lieutenant Colonel Pablo Estrada Martín, and agents of the Civil Guard and the army are already investigating the causes of the incident. His companion, in another plane, returned unharmed to the Torrejón de Ardoz base.
This was reported by the government delegate in Aragon, Fernando Beltrán, who went to the scene of the accident, from where he offered his condolences to the family, friends and colleagues. He confirmed that the investigation would be long, given that the remains are “very scattered” and that it is “difficult” to make an on-site assessment of what happened..
