Ayuso accuses Sánchez of having placed public order “at the feet” of Bildu, who “came to power by ending the lives of police officers”

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusoregretted that Pedro Sánchez allowed the security and public order of Spain “to be placed at the feet” of Bildu, “who came to power by putting an end to the lives of police officers, civil guards, soldiers, civilians and children.

He expressed this this Friday during a Radio Intereconomía event at the Teatro Real, where he attacked the government for “deprotect women, the police, the Crown, believers, non-independence Catalans and judges”.

The criticism comes after the coalition government agreed with the Bildu parliamentary group in Congress to reform the Citizen Security Law to end the use of current rubber bullets by security forces, thus ending the “discretionary power” in imposing administrative sanctions for lack of compliance. for authority and disobedience and also present within six months a reform of the immigration law to put an end to what are called “hot returns” of migrants at the border.

“The most painful thing of all is that this is done by Bildu, who We know what they are and who is behind them. I believe they should have been brought before the Supreme Court to find out at the time whether their illegalization was possible or not. If that were the case, much of what is happening would not go any further, because this coalition could not last a single day. A party which has terrorists on its lists should probably have been banned,” underlined the Madrid president.

Ayuso warned that “it is not clear what is behind this pact.” Sánchez “never had the courage to publicly expose its contents, but we know that Bildu is the most loyal partner and the first partner he had in this perverse coalition,” he underlined during his speech.

The president lamented that “this is the way our rule of law is because of these votes.” Likewise, he warned that the Government “wants hotel receptions to become police stations”: “This is the perversion of what we are witnessing. It is to be criminalize real life and crime becomes normal,” he said.

“The truth disturbs power”

The head of the regional Executive assured that Spain finds itself in a moment where “the truth disturbs and makes power uncomfortable”. “Faced with what the Government asserts, the journalism “He will never be able to submit to power games or give in to censorship,” he stressed.

Likewise, he referred to a publication in “The Economist” which “denounces the fact that Sánchez clings to power at the expense of Spanish democracy”. In this sense, the Madrid leader added that she “is concerned about the drift that the president is making, and which is happening at high speed.”

“We still have professionals, institutions and also independent media who are resisting this drift. Also nyou still have the European Union. Threats to freedom, whether from the press, academia, or free speech, are stopped with more freedom. For our part, we will always participate in free and open press conferences, in a region where there is no room for censorship,” he stressed.
