The Israeli army (SAXAL) attacked the runway where refugees were fleeing from the bombings near the Masnaa checkpoint, located on the border with Syria in Lebanon.

According to Ali Hamiyen, Lebanon’s Transport Minister, over the past 10 days some 300,000 people, most of them Syrians, used this road. He also pointed out that after the impact a 4 meter wide hole was created in the area near the border crossing.
Israel explains the bombing of the area near the checkpoint with the fact that Hezbollah uses the border crossing to transport military equipment to Lebanon. The representative of the Israeli army, Avichay Adrai, wrote on his account on the social network “X” that the Israeli army will not allow weapons smuggling.
