two people arrested after throwing 4,960 euros of counterfeit notes in the street

The intervention took place on September 20 in the El Carrascal district. Officers patrolling the area spotted two individuals displaying a suspicious attitude as they left an establishment on Gibraltar Avenue. Having noticed the presence of the police, the two individuals tried to flee.

During the escape, the suspects began discarding several wads of cash, throwing them around them. Shortly after, local police managed to intercept the two men and confiscated the ticketswhich at first glance seemed of good quality, although they turned out to be fakes.
